Hi, a simple question:
It is possible to use MSFS VR with cheaper VR devices that use the smartphone as viewer or is necessary to spend money for Oculus rift or others ?
This because I will test the VR and if a little bit satisfied proceed with expensive devices.

If you have a PC that can support it, sure. VRRIDGE, RiftCat, etc. Are all apps that translate phone VR to SteamVR. It will not be great, but the features will be pretty similar to that of a normal headset. You just lose the ability to read text unless you use a 4k smartphone. Keep in mind phone VR is MUCH worse than PCVR so only judge MSFS performance and experience, not the overall quality of VR

Obviously I dont expect great performance from smartphone VR but wil be only to have an idea before to “close” me inside a viewer.
