It’s been fine, but I rolled back my Nvidia driver from a suggestion on YouTube. Now it stutters with a slight lag. I did reset the Nvidia experience parameters to what I had been using, but, it still stutters. Suggestions?

Try:
Delete and recreate your rolling cache.
Clear environment data in WMR. You may need to rerun your setup for the headset.

Why not use the latest nvidia driver? Are you using DX11 or 12? DX11 and latest driver is smooth for me.
It was for me too, but Microsoft and Nvidia are working on a known issue with the last 4 releases of Nvidia drivers. 531.29 is the recommended version right now.
I know but the latest driver is smooth for me on DX11. (DX12 not so much)
