Getting 85 mbps over wifi, not bad while everyone, including xbox is downloading the update.

Yeah sloth mate, I launched the game twice and nothing, so I reset the console, re launched and pow, brought me to the update dash and its now downloading. I’m AEST or gmt+10

Nice , no luck for me on the PC though.
When a file is downloading, I am getting 220 to 270 Mbit/s.
But between files, I am getting long periods of “Please wait …” 
Deinstalled MSFS prior, wanted to get a fresh installation.
According to the installation manager I have to download 126GB. I thought they cut the download size in half?
It’s happening again. The never ending download loop. Why can’t they fix this???
That’s the reason why a prior deletion only makes sense when You have problems.
The downloaded files all should be checked and do a patching of the existing files. So everything should be fine.

I landed, closed the game, then Steam updated the launcher.
After Steam was done I rebooted my laptop, started the game and it started updating.
Good so far, 33/236 5.2/37GB, downloading is pretty fast yet long pauses between files (unpacking and updating I guess). You would think that it could download the next file while updating the previous one.
It’s checking licenses too in between, I guess all planes had updates.
“Download loop”? So that means you have downloaded everything at least once?
