Ok, bit of progress on my side. This setting was Medium for me in SU9, changed it to Ultra in SU10 and the sim is running a lot smoother:
If set to Low or Medium and I begin to pan, the GPU loses its mind until this error appears and a CTD happens:

I don’t known if both of one of these cured this for me during the beta:
• DDU and reinstall nVidia drivers
• Reinstall base sim (protecting content directory)
The latter I allowed to clear out my /Users/your_name/AppData/Local/Packages/Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe directory. This may not be ideal for some, so I’d recommend backing up any of those files that you deem important. I’d test the sim first with a fresh install of that directory before replacing files with your backed up versions. You’re looking to fix this issue, not maintain it.
To date, I’ve not seen that error return.

Can you post a screenshot of your graphic display settings ?
Set my graphic options to high-end again in full screen mode. Vram usage is about 7,5gb. Still no error. Dx11 no oc no dlss.

How many VRAM did u have ?
3060 ti. 8gb vram.

same here with the 3070 - but only 7GB available
But now, it works, or you still have the error ?
3 VFR Flight in a row - since i started the Treath today and the Sim was Crashing with DX11 and Max Settings.
See my reply further up, for me anyway, setting off screen terrain pre-caching to Ultra helps to solve the “Your graphics device has encountered a problem…” error and the CTD

I have now - my precaching on Ultra too - runs very smooth!
Yes, i had the problem in DX11. Did not experienced it in Dx12 (but i have artifacts with DX12), so i stay in DX11 for now. Still smooth for me

Excellent, it is better when set to Ultra, it doesn’t solve every stutter, however, there perhaps is a problem with pre-caching set to low or medium in SU10 for some PC setups.

I always set the pre-caching to ultra. Did not experiment any other settings.
after landing, i´ll give a try with PreCacbing Ultra and DX11

My update went well but I can not fly. I have had 5 CTD’s today. That’s more then I’ve had in the last 2 years. Does Asobo not test this junk? I am stepping away from this lobotomy until they decide to fix it. I am beyond livid. Give us the chance to roll the update back, Using DX11.
