Description of the issue: both Washington Monument and U.S. Capital building missing in SU 1

ICAO, coordinates, or specific location: National Mall, Washington D.C.

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue? Yes.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Each of the 3 times I looked.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

1. Fly low level over the National Mall, Washington DC
2. Both POI’s are missing.

Did you check in the library if the USA Points of interest are maybe deactivated? SU1 deactivated certain POIs for me and I don’t know why…

@BlackCatsRIP As @dxtr suggested, can you check whether you have USA Points of Interest disabled in ‘My Library’?

Just confirmed both models are missing witha vanilla MSFS2024. It is most likely the more general regression of many missing 3D models described here:

Loaded up 2024 for the first time in over a month. Decided to jump into a World Photographer challenge as a quick, casual thing to do. Flying over Easter Island, went looking for the Moai statues as per the POI indicator and the EFB marker… … nothing there. Landed next to them. Waited. Didn’t load in. The hotel POIs near the airport loaded. The custom airport loaded. The Moai heads did not. Interesting photography challenge… I don’t want to be a naysayer, and this is only a trivial issue, but…

The linked issue is already feedback-logged so the issue is known to the devs by now.

P.S. And the monument in front of the Capitol looks as if Christo wrapped it in pink paper as an art installation.

I found out that the points of interest in World Update II was disabled. Enabling it and Washington POIs are back:

This worked. Here I though it was those DOGE boys stole the darn thing.
