Activation broken for several third party aircraft including the Just Flight RJ Professional, Just Flight Hawk, and PMDG 777 series. In addition to this since making the original post there have been numerous additional examples of WASM related errors in addons including the above but also Inibuilds A350, FlightFX Citation X, and the iFly MAX 8

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Start the sim

  2. Enter Free Flight with any of the above listed aircraft

  3. Just Flight show ā€œLicense Failureā€ on the Tablet and PMDG 777 aircraft are stuck in cold and dark state (which indicates activation error)

Just contact our support and we’ll fix that for you. Unless it is on SU4 beta, we have not started looking at that.

This is not an isolated issue, other users are experiencing the same problem.

Yes it’s SU4 beta …. which I absolutely don’t expect you to fix right now… unless you feel like it. Honestly I’m just happy the VR LOD issue is fixed. This I can wait for.

Unable to load in the Leonardo Maddog MD-82 as well - suspecting similar issue.

I think as as the patch notes mentions some WASM changes, I guess the third party need to update their code to adapt to the changes.

FSL just pushed an update for their 321 and 321neo

A change specific to SU4?

Add the iFly Max to this list. After the first-launch compilation, the world map never zooms in to allow you to load into the aircraft. Sim activity drops to effectively zero with no UI elements visible on-screen, and no response to keyboard input. Sim has to be force-quit.

Great, I ā€œloveā€ that every Sim Update has a chance of bricking aircraft if they don’t fix an issue over the course of the beta and some aircraft developers don’t care to update anymore.

Always bear that in mind with your future purchasing decisions.

FSL ? Yeah there is no real patchnotes but there is a post on the forums

Usually, the back button is actuially still working – unfortunately the cursor gets messed up so you can’t easily select/find the button.

I just happened to rebuild my PC this week, so I did a fresh install of the 777-200ER. It launched ok, but the mouse could not interact with anything.

I got an update for the 7772ER today. It doesn’t load properly.

I read in the PMDG Forum that they are not yet working on SU4, so we might not expect that in 777 releases anytime soon.

The aircraft is just not compatible with SU4 beta. Microsoft will have to fix that or tell us what changed. Right now, we would be stabbing at the code in the dark. SU3 badly burned us, and we do not want to do a ton of work that will be made useless a few days before release.

Thanks for the update! Will wait on news, and fly it in 2020 for now.

Newest build was just released and this is still broken unfortunately.

With the latest update the cockpit does load normally, but I can’t press any buttons. The EFB works, as well as the thrust levers and the yoke, but nothing else.

Edit: after a restart, nothing works again

Cross posting for visibility.
