Watermasks not working in Florida

It’s not fixed yet because it hasn’t been logged. Very likely, no one at Asobo knows about it. As you can see, a volunteer moderator even repro’d the bug nearly a year ago. But that doesn’t seem to matter here.

Would looooove to get updated Florida Watermasks… they’re far too low of a resolution. Compared to the Caribbean…which is odd since there should be a decent source to grab them from.

It looks like it’s going to cost us a $14 addon to fix this problem. This just blows my mind how the devs have not addressed this and now there are 3rd party “selling” a fix that should be done for free.

Would not recommend that at the moment. I emailed the dev some issues and it also doesn’t work well with TAA mode. I see a LOT of blurry areas and also has some poor blended areas.

Yikes. Good thing I didn’t pull the trigger yet. Why in the world would DLSS be required for an addon like this? Makes no sense.

2. Climb above 2000ft

3. Watch the water mask becomes blurry low res

I just want to add this has nothing to do with Florida. This is a global issue.
Its maybe more noticeable there due to the complex and bright mask.
