We are unable to Sync your data with the cloud at the moment

HI folks,

been away from MSFS for a while, I have just upgraded my PC, did a fresh reformat today, installed MSFS and have come to the monument valley still with a message that says.

We are unable to Sync your data with the cloud at the moment

This has been happening all day as I have tried a few times, again fresh install, the full sim has not downloaded as yet but essentially this is where it will see what I have stored in the cloud and then go from there,

Any ideas what to do folks?

I opened msfs today and got that message. I have logged out of Xbox app and back in, but all my settings disappeared. My joysticks and my graphic settings all went back to default. I still have all my hours logged and added planes. Anyway to get back to my original settup?

Unable to Sync your data with the cloud - Again !!!

I can’t understand why Microsoft couldn’t send a more precise message in case a new login is required in the XBOX app, like->

Log in to the XBOX app and re-start the game.

Instead of solving it, Microsoft leaves users trying to remember or find the solution on the web.

This is not acceptable, it is not free software, everyone here paid for this game and even purchased more in the marketplace to be treated like this.

This was happening to me a few weeks ago, then the problem went away and then suddenly it has returned. Game is unable to synch and then asks me to insert a disc. So I have been grounded for two days now. This really is not acceptable.

Did you try the solution indicated above?
