We couldn't sign you in to Xbox Live (0x80004005)

Decided to take the “Try Offline” option that I was presented with. It did an update and opened and of course offline, i had no pilot log and had to go through some setup hoops. decided to close and restart. This time it started without issue and is readt to run. Very strange experience.

Thank you for the link. This was the first time I’d encountered this issue.

It seems to work

Be careful with this guys. I have seen many unsuccessful logging attempts from different locations worldwide into my account during the last hours while I have not even used the game today. This could be a not published security breach and not just a general logging error. Review your Microsoft account security settings and add a two step verification if you have not already done it before.

Cheers

At the very least you could end up fiddling around with offline, and end up wiping your profile, and logbook.

I’m going to leave well alone this evening, and find something else to do.

Looks like they just about have it cleared up
