We need Airshows DLC

It would be be nice to have some DLC air shows such as:

  • Battle creek Air Show
  • Thunder over Michigan
  • Flames of fame
  • CAF air show
  • etc.

Where are these at?

I love the sun n fun airshow in Florida because they always have a ton of GA aircraft to look at

It’s not a true air show DLC, but this mod for KOSH (Oshkosh, WI) makes some updates related to EAA Airventure. It includes the painted dots on the runway for simultaneous landings, and landmarks for navigating the famous Fisk arrival.

What do you expect a airshow DLC would show ? Static planes? Tents and fair objects? AI planes running demo’s ?

This is a freeware for a famous french airshow: “La Ferte, Le temps des Hélices” just south of Paris, France.

Finally I would suggest to activate the Community with the scenery request feature of flightsim.to and describing what you expect : Scenery Requests | Microsoft Flight Simulator » Flightsim.to

I think that idea has some potential. Air show / stunt flying / aerobatics is not my thing but I bet there are lots of folks wo would want to do this.

Dose anyone know if there is any heli expo scenery

“Need” is perhaps too a strong word, eh?

  • Battle creek Air Show = Battle creek, Michigan
  • Thunder over Michigan = YPSILANTI, michigan
  • Flames of fame Chino, CA
  • CAF air show= Dallas, TX

There could be an addon where there are calendar dates for airshows around the world and add the aforementioned tents, crowds, fencing and stuff. WeLoveVFR has something similar in place for their fireworks addon, could use a similar system for ground objects and stuff like that?

Depending what exactly you mean by this, I agree.

I would love some scenery particularly at the two biggest shows in the US: EAA Airventure and Sun N Fun. Accurate crowds, static displays, and more would be great. I don’t necessarily want AI-controlled aircraft putting on shows (I’d rather be the one up in the skies), but some decent default scenery for some of the biggest shows in the world would be fun. I could also imagine seeing ultralights running the pattern at Airventure would be fun.
