Weather Apps

What free live weather/wind tools do you use while flying? I’m currently getting throw around in the 737-800 at cruise after departing Renton and was wondering if this was similar to what it’s actually like IRL.

Plus, knowing what the weather will be like en-route is fun and adds a bit more realism to the sim.

I use Meteoblue on my phone and find some of the charts and Meteographs they produce really useful.

MeteoBlue is the best for accuracy (compared to in-sim) because they’re MSFS’ weather data provider. They have lots of different maps such as METAR maps, cloud-base maps, wind maps, precipitation maps, and many more features.

Windy is also good feature-wise but is potentially less accurate than MeteoBlue.

I’ve used both quite a lot and MeteoBlue is the best in my opinion, especially due to the accuracy.
