Brief description of the issue:

I have noticed that in some airports the metar injection range is very short, especially in the QNH pressure, which makes rnav approaches difficult, making them very imprecise, the QNH in some airports drops rapidly after approximately 5nm of distance, example SPJL

I am not sure this is a bug. In a Live Dev Q&A from 2022 (see below), they explained how Live Weather works, METAR injection is only few kilometers around the airport. So 5nm that are about 9kms seem right to experience a transition between the pressure coming from the METAR and the one coming from Meteoblue. The larger the difference is between both, more chance to get a quick transition.
Continuing the discussion from Live Dev Q&A - August 18th, 2022:

They should increase the injection range. This rapid change in pressure is annoying, especially in high-altitude airports where the pressure is higher. For example, SPJL usually has a pressure of 1034 hpa. After 5 miles, the pressure drops quickly to 1013. I have verified it with weather debug, for the moment I will use active sky, I have not had a problem with pressure with this addon,
The bad thing about this addon is its horrible transitions

I’m sorry for my English, I use Google Translator.

Looking at the Meteoblue pressure for that airport and surroundings it is reported now 1014-1016 hPa

But the METAR is reporting a much higher pressure 1034 hPA:

Maybe someone could explain such a difference ?

Moving to User Support Hub User Support Hub > Weather & Live Weather to carry on the discussion there and since apparently this is not a bug. Pressure transition between METAR and Meteoblue works as expected (few kilometers around the airport).
