#Contrails help! I started getting these weird exhaust vortex lines that shouldn’t be there, Community folder and all mods are gone and even did a full reinstall and still this. They look like contrails from FS2002

This is the 1st time I am seeing this type on artefact in a contrail. To discard any mod conflict, start the sim in safe mode: once in the regular mode, killed MSFS.exe through Windows Task Manager and restart, you’ll get the safe mode option. Then test again with your stock airplanes and let us know if it is back to normal.

I am testing a couple of things regarding contrails right now, but never saw this one !. Really don’t think it is a bug.
Safe mode fixes it, but it is from the marketplace where ever it’s causing the problem I’ll have to see whats going on with each addon I guess.

Yes, should be one of your marketplace addon that is not downloaded in the Community folder but in the “Official” folder. That is why the only way to discard those files when making some tests is to start in safe mode. Good luck finding the one causing that conflict.

I deleted my official folder and auto-downloaded it back via the sim, it’s clean no lines, I’m starting with scenery and going from there, 1 plane at a time if it stays gone and clean.
