Do you have any scenery add-ons? If so, did you try removing them and try to reproduce the issue?

Try a much lower altitude and above the end of EGLC runway , facing towards HSBC at Canary Wharf.

From your screenshot your way off where it can be seen.

I have the Orbx EGLC scenery, but it still shows even if I unload it.

I fly around EGLC a lot, and I have never seen any giant buildings.

Are you sure you arenā€™t in the Beta? I ask because I have seen giant trees in some screenshots.

This occurred pre beta, beta, and post beta ie this version.

What beta? Are you talking about this happening in SU10 Beta? If so, you should report this bug in #sim-update-10-beta:scenery-and-airports-bug-report

Which stadium is that? Iā€™ve flown all over London, and never seen any giant buildings.

LOL! I fly around EGLC and London City 95% of the time and today, after I performed a clean installation, I saw ā€œthe buildingā€ appearing several times.

The building in question is ā€œThe Fulham Football Clubā€ which happens to be geographically located correctly in my images below, to the west of London. Itā€™s just that the building was about 500,000 times larger than it should be. :rofl: I thought it was an ORBX issue but Nick pointed me to this old post, so I thought Iā€™d share my experience as well.

I was actually experiencing really bad building and scenery this morning where even after flying over tan area, groups of London buildings and scenery would populate themy display but then when I circled around, it would repopulate again as if I was flying over the area for the first time.

Iā€™ve seen in previous posts that many simmers experience poor graphics when flying over London, and I can concur. I typically have a great experience flying anywhere in the UK, Paris, USA, etc., but this London things seems to be getting worse for some reason.

I promise I have a great clean computer with GeForce RTX-2060 Super graphics card, 900mbps connection, all is good and has been good. Up until today. I tried a different server but that didnā€™t help.

I know it sounds extreme but a clean install is what I prefer to do so Iā€™ll report back with any improvements, same, etc.

Hi, its reassuring that Iā€™m not ā€˜sufferingā€™ in isolating. I have notified Orbx, and they are now aware of the problem. The ball is in their court, but a bug report from you ,directly to them might help expedite the issue.

Understood and hopefully theyā€™ll read this post as this problem, for me anyway, began right after I installed my Orbx mods using the Orbx Central app.

My system has been running flawlessly since I re-installed MSFS way back in November 2021, with Orbx London City Airport and Orbx Landmarks London City Pack that I bought through the MSFS Marketplace back in 2020.

Yesterday, I realized I never installed the additional Orbx apps I more recently bought through the Orbx Central in 2021, which in part included EU Great Britain Central, Liverpool John Lennon Airport, and also both London City Airport and Landmarks London City Pack. Donā€™t askā€¦ somehow I bought those two packs twice and I chalk it up to being too excited with this new toy.

So I deleted those two Orbx mods from my Marketplace, and then installed all of the Orbx mods via the Orbx Central app, and that is when my problems began. All of the buildings and scenery were very, very poor (see the above image) and that Football Club building glitch began to occur.

So I painstakingly performed a clean install of MSFS today only this time, I launched the game before installing any apps. London flyovers looked great (rolling cache created and set to 150GB) so once that looked good, I then installed the Orbx London City Airport and Orbx Landmarks London City Pack, that was sitting in my MSFS Marketplace.

After installing this London packs, I had no issues at all and everything is running and looking perfectly for both night and daytime flying.

So sadly, thereā€™s something amuck with installing the Orbx mods via their Orbx Central app, for me anyway. Perhaps the issue might be with the Great Britain Central mod. I have no idea.

I just prefer using a mod that I can just drag or install directly into my Community folder, instead of using links. Either way, system is now running too smooth for me to want to muck it up.

Moving this to Scenery & Airports because this is not a first-party bug.

This bug report was already sent to the developers before and closed because the developers could not reproduce the issue. Always remember to disable mods before logging a bug report.

I have seen this giant stadium on my xbox with Orbx London and EGLC installed. Itā€™s not always there for me but I have often seen it to the East when taxiing at EGLL, also when overlying London.

Itā€™s caused by Orbx London Landmarks and it only happens when viewing it at certain LOD levels. Iā€™m very surprised to see that they havenā€™t fixed it yet.

I eventually realised the same thing so I just removed/deleted the addon - that I paid for. :wink:
I also use the updated London City Airport addon and that seems to be working fine.

I hadnā€™t seen it for a while, but Iā€™m seeing it now on the runway R27 (EGLC) , following installation of WU17. This was in VR - it disappeared when I switched to 2D, though reappearing when back in VR. It also disappeared in VR once I had taken off.

I havenā€™t yet tried removing the Orbx London Landmarks - tbh Iā€™m getting tired of all these workarounds I have to do just to get a flight working sensibly.

Certainly its the orbx London landmarks, Iā€™m surprised they havenā€™t fixed it. Worth reminding them as this pack needs an update anywayā€¦

Same for me. Just saw it yesterday on Xbox X. With the new world update and I have orbx London too.

Itā€™s only visible from certain angles and range. Perhaps people are seeing it because thereā€™s a lot more people flying around London right now.
