Yes, that is true, it is just planned.
To add to that though, there has been no talk or mention of any delay in that plan as yet!
At the very least, within the last 2 months the number of votes more than doubled, should be at or near the top 20 bugs to fix by now. I just don’t want constant a tennis game back and forth between AMD and Asobo trading blame, smells like Asobo to fix.

So i am currently using the latest driver 25.10.2 and it seems the artifacts has reduced significantly. There are still some around the cockpit edges and when looking from the external view where the edges on the fin still shows artifacts, nothing on the wings edges and light casting (ini a350, and cirrus vision). Inside the cockpit, i only see a few specks of it randomly here and there, which i can live with it.
Make sure to run AMD clean up tool and manually delete all AMD installation directories and everything, plus shader caches located %localappdata%\AMD\ ….. all done in safemode
No improvement for me at all with 25.10.2. Wouldn’t have expected there to be since the issue was not addressed in their release notes and AMD is usually pretty thorough about those things.
No changes here too. Doubt it‘ll be fixed in any way besides the planned SU5 fix.
Thanks for the hint about the new driver. Can confirm a reduction of artifacts on my rig. I mostly fly helicopters and the reduction is a first step to using night flying more often.
I tried again after using the AMD Remover, safe mode and fresh driver install, cockpit looks the same in the F35.
A350:
What settings do you use? Res? FSR? OptiScaler? TAA? Adrenaline Settings?
This is my favorite aboard the C17-A
Yikes!!!
