Weird graphical artifacts around cockpit at night on AMD RX 9000 Series GPUs

I also updated the latest drives, and I have the same issue, although I feel like it’s less significant? Or is it just my impression?

It looks a bit less. I’ll reinstall the older driver and see if anything changes.

I tried the first available driver supporting the RX 9000 cards (25.3.2) and the latest one (25.4.1). It makes zero difference :frowning:

felt the same to me

Is anyone else experiencing these kinda artefarcts or has an idea how to solve it?
I tried TAA on/ off/ FSR3 as well as FSR FrameGen On/Off. They always are there when there is darkness, not visible though during bright days.

I play on 4k with 100% Resolution scaling on a 4k screen on a RX9070.
FPS are more than fine, everything on high/ ultra.

More than happy to get moved this post to a relevant topic, if there already is one. I sadly am not sure if it was a issue prior to SU2.

Hi, any news on this?

Probably not going to be fixed before full SU2 release. Just for info, I disabled lots of Shaders and non fixed the issue, so it could very well be a issue that AMD needs to fix.

Am getting this problem on my RX9070. Even with TAA and FG off completely, makes no difference. Ok during the day but present at dusk/dawn and night. You can see it here in the windscreen edges of the Joby, but have seen this on many aircraft. Also seen it in an external view of the 737 around the winglets.

This post was feedback tagged, @moderators is there a chance to get this into the bug logged state? That would be much appreciated!

They need to replicate it before they can do that

I’m worried that they won’t fix it for the inital release of SU2

That’s up to the dev test team, not moderators. as mentioned here:

feedback-logged : A Community Feedback is logged in our database, and our test team is working to reproduce the issue. Note: If the feedback is verified as a bug, the thread’s tag will be changed for “Bug logged”

Yep, not fixed in live build. Flying with this at night is really anoying.

Honestly guys, you’re pushing it… You officially released the SU2 without fixing the issue… So those of us with a 9070XT are just screwed, and we can’t fly anymore during night huh?

Yeah, and It is real shame, since more 3rd party devs were waiting for SU2 relase to update their planes. Now we need to wait for SU3 to hopefully fix this issue, but that can take severall months, If ever… really dissapointed, cause the update is otherwise great.

After more then 6 weeks an answer to this issue would be nice. Is this a AMD or MSFS issue?

Some dude in the Fenix Discord said he apparently has the same issues, which makes this even more confusing since obviously RX 9000 users were affected the most. Buy yeah, an actual “hey guys, were on it” would be nice

Hoping for a SU2.5 lol

Well it is really weird, I posted it on Reddit, and some say they have the same issue, but some don’t. But some respond would surely be nice…

I’m not seeing that since the update to SU2 final. I tried really hard to replicate the artifacts.
