These past 15 days, every time I open FS2020 I get this wierd message
“MENU.COMMUNITY_friend_request_received_desc”
It appears only with MSFS
Anybody else gets this?

Hmm… this was reported in the PerformancePLUS beta:

It either wasn’t fixed or broke along the way since then.
EDIT: I just realized that link is not accessible to anyone who was not in the PerformacePLUS Beta, but I’m leaving it there for staff.

can you mention which version of MSFS you have installed ?
I found the translation for that key in the language files in SU10, as example
\fs-base\en-US.locPak
“MENU.COMMUNITY_FRIEND_REQUEST_RECEIVED_DESC”: “{PLAYER_NAME} wants to be your friend.”,
thut it should show you the text you see.
Or have you changed some files, folders ?

Had a corrupted Locpak file that was showing me that kind of error for DLSS options in the Graphics menu.
My fix was to rename fs-base in Official Packages folder and restart the sim, force a partial download.
That’s potentially 13GB compressed, so be warned.

I get this message only for 40 seconds when FS is loading, so I guess I can live with it!
