Weird panel Indication

The screenshot shows my ILS landing on CYUL runway 24R. The aircraft has followed the glide slope and localiser perfectly but the localiser indicator is not aligned vertically with the runway.

I’ve not had this problem anywhere in the sim until recently. I searched for a solution but seem to always come up with posts that discuss errors with airports that have ILS alignment errors in the sim and, to me, this seems to be a different situation. I experience the same problem at other airports where, again, I never used to have a problem. As I don’t know what is causing this or how to remedy the problem, could someone explain how I could get my ILS indicator to align properly?
Thanks for any help.

More likely a navigation data mismatch. I don’t see why they would build an offset localizer to this runway. What other airports do you notice this problem?

Thank you for your input. This has been happening with KSEA’s ILS 16 and 35 runways and other places I flew to recently. After I posted earlier today, I performed some tests with other aircraft with the following results: My ILS alignment problem does not happen with the Salty 747 or the Asobo A320. Before my post, it was present in the Stable version of my FBW A32NX, as can be seen in my screeshot, and now, after switching to the FBW development version, I still have the problem. So, at this point, if nobody else is having trouble with their FBW aircraft, I have to believe the fault is mine, I must have inadvertently changed a setting or whatnot and my puzzle will be finding what that could be! Again, any help with this would be welcome indeed.

Alright, I didn’t know the aircraft in the screenshot was the FBW 320. In that case, maybe you could reach out to them directly? I believe they might have a forum or Discord somehow.

Yes, well, I was hoping to get a solution from this forum because I find the FBW help section rather convoluted in the sense that finding a direct and appropriate answer to a specific question requires numerous back and forth steps and the need to click on too many links in order to hopefully get to the general area of the needed information. FBW aircraft are an extraordinarily fine free gift to the flight sim community, in my opinion, and I truly enjoy starting one Cold & Dark, flip all required switches, programming its MCDU with a Simbrief flight plan, and all the rest, it’s a wonderful experience all right but, speaking for myself, looking for something in their help section is something I dread very much. I wish I didn’t have to say this but I truly hate having to search that section so, here’s hoping a day will come when changes are made so a FBW query becomes easier to set up and to get answers to. As for Discord, it’s probably just me, again, but I don’t find Discord to be a particularly friendly space, especially for non-regular participants. I get cryptic emails from a few Discord participants from time to time but when I visit, I rarely am able to get a sense of what’s important or of what should be done next. But you’re right, going to the FBW Discord might be the best thing to do to resolve this. I’ll have a look at the FBW Discord server and see if I can ask my question and post my screenshot easily. Thanks.

Author, here, and I think I have resolved my ILS alignment problem. I began by turning all add-ons off in my Linker then I went into MSFS 2020, found the FBW A32NX was still in my fleet and I spawned it on the same ILS 24R runway shown in my screenshot. After entering the ILS frequency in the MCDU’s Rad Nav page, the indicator was now perfectly vertical. This looked good yet normal, since that was what I usually saw before my alignment problem started a week or two ago. I took off and did a circuit, everything worked well and I landed with the ILS localiser pointer perfectly aligned.

After this test, I ticked all my add-ons to on in Linker, re-started the sim but, this time, myA32NX ILS localiser indicator was again badly misaligned after I entered the ILS frequency. So, I decided to just try stuff, starting with adding the course, 238, at LSK 2L. This did not change anything. On a hunch, I decided to enter 238 again but this time to the other course key so I clicked course numbers 238 into LSK 4L and I saw F238 populate the four yellow squares. And now, when I switched back to panel view, bingo! my proper vertical alignment was back. So! What does this all mean? I have no idea but, from now on, I suppose a prerequisite for me will be to fill in the course at LSK 4L whenever I fly the FBW Airbus. I don’t know if this constitutes a proper solution, I hope it does but I can’t be sure that’s all there was to this alignment problem. But I can say this: after spawning at various airports, my FBW AC again showed misalignment once the relevant ILS frequency was entered. I also know the improper alignment snapped back to perfectly vertical once I clicked the runway’s course at LSK 4L. Well, that’s it, thanks to all who read my post and I hope it helps somebody.
