Weird smoking/whistle air sound on FBW A320

Sometimes when I’m flying the FBW A320, I sometimes hear a weird air sound in the plane, sounds like a whistle kinda, any fixes?

Need more information than that… attach a video

Was about to attach a video but it stopped lol. Perfect timing. Other than that, I can’t really explain anything else. I found a video that sounds close to it. https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/OE9bF80KQGk

This sound happens when you turn on the external power, right?

i think its a wind noise when the landing gear is extended

Is this the sound you were referring to? A click and then a hissing sound afterwards?

I’ve noticed louder external sounds in the cockpit recently as well. If my flaps are down or the landing gear etc. I hear loud air-flowing type sounds. To reduce those sounds I went into the general settings and the sound tab. There’s a bunch of volume sliders for the various types of sounds so you might play with those to lower the most irritating noises. It worked for me.

I could be the brake cooling fan, no? But it should only make sound when the brake fan is on. I’m not sure why these sounds are the problem. I would think you would know what all the noise is suppose to sound like if you’re actually a real life pilot and already know what sounds are audible inside the cockpit, or on the outside of the aircraft.

If you are, you can join the FBW team project directly and let them know if these sounds are unrealistic, and they should be happy to oblige.

Otherwise, these sounds are added after they’re validated and reviewed by the real airbus pilot and engineers who are already involved with the project. So I just assumed that’s just how it sounds like in real life too.
