Well done Perfect Flight on the new bush trips

Well, at least the Sardinia one is a lot better than the trips that came with the Spanish update (haven’t tried the other two yet). Descriptions actually have visual references to follow again (like roads, coastlines, crossing bodies of water).

@BuffyGC not sure if you relayed the feedback after the Spanish trips, but if you did, thanks, and thank the team from me for making it better.

I’ve extracted the nav logs for all three trips and from a quick eyeball they all look fine. If anyone wants them they’re here. Nav log extracts for the official bush trips » Microsoft Flight Simulator
I also flew leg 1 of the Sicily trip earlier today and was very impressed by the appearance of Palermo. Whoever worked on the Palermo scenery deserves a pat on the back.

Started the Sardian flight as well.
Better than the former ones, but did still not reach the quality from the initial release of FS-2020.
More Waypoints with a bit more visual cues and some more interesting facts about the villages and towns would be good.

One thing that I really do not want to see again: You do not want to follow a road on the left side (POI4 Marcomer). You want to stay on the right side, just to avoid mid air collisions.

All in all, the design of the Bushtrips seems to get a bit better.
When Asobo now get the Bushtrips error free for 100.00% I will be much happier!
And I mean 100.00%, not 99.98%
Since SU5 they are bugged, which was released around 1 year before SUX will see the day of light and the Bushtrips supposed to fixed.

Except if you fly in Great Britain, Australia, South Africa, India, Thailand, Japan, and some others.
In these countries you have to fly on the left side of the sky…

Too bad that, together with the good quality of these recent bushtrips, all the infamous bushtrips bugs still remain the same …(((. As to be unable to close the last leg (talking about Sicily) and to stay stuck to the 83% of completion of the whole tour. And VFR plan which disappears from time to time, tickmark missing in spite of completed legs, etc etc.

I think it would be time to solve this very old issue.

Cheers,
rob

It was told in the last marketing stream (called Dev Q&A) that the Bushtrips will be fixed with SUX, coming end July. Only 2 more months and one more WU with some other bushtrips to wait.

And to be honest, the latest bushtrips are better, but far from good.
To much long and boring legs, where I have seen many opportunities to make it more interesting (and challenging)

Hopefully SU 10 also being called SUX isn’t a sign…
