What am i missing?

no long story i’ll let the pictures talk :

I believe v-sync AND FPS lock is not possible. It’s one or the other

when you set V-sync to OFF then the frame limit get’s greyed out , so they connected.

Ah oops. My bad

Yep. Same issue. No matter what combination I use in-game and NVCP or, even, OTT when in VR, FPS is impossible to keep a lid on. At times it’s racing at high 170s in the menus.

Forget it. Senior moment.

Ohhh let’s test :

Vsync ON Frame limiter at 60 , devmode fps counter on
45 FPS but with lots of red flashing thingies…
Vsync ON Frame limiter at 30
Still 45 FPS but now with noo red flashy things, All green…

P.S. my FPS is now lower coz i’m now running 3 screens at 5920x1080 instead of the 1 screen at 1920x1080 that i used in the first post.

Hotfix - 2 , now it’s even worse , i now get around 70 FPS on my 3 screen setup

Vsync ON
Frame limit 30

if my videocard gonna burn up with these settings i hold asobo responsible for it…

lol

V-Sync is mainly not made for Limit FPS, it is a sync with your monitor. Because you have a “3 screen setup” , one of these is choosen for reference. Also be aware that the setting called 60/30/20 are NOT FPS values. These match only in case you own 60fps monitors. I explained this a few times in forum.

If you want a independent fps limit, then set this within the nvidia control center.
