Hi there, What are some good thorough YouTube videos On Little NavMap? I have only been using Little NavMap a few times…I have used SimBrief most of the time. I would like to learn more about Little NavMap… Any information is greatly appreciated. TIA
I believe Jonathan Beckett on YT has some vids on LNM usage.
LNM could fill a ten part series on Netflix.
I’m always finding new stuff it can do ![]()
I’ve watched his. It’s good. Also 2020 fs’ers videos.
Little Navmap is worth learning to use. It’s not perfect. There are two things that I wish it could do (or do better):
- Plan multi-stop trips. You can plan several single-hop trips and then append them together, but the process is a pain. I’d much rather be able to plan out, for example, a trip around Africa with 20 stops, along with waypoints and approaches etc.
- I’d like to be able to program in desired speeds and altitudes at the various waypoints. LNM respects SID and STAR restrictions, but otherwise only provides for a single cruise altitude.
As someone said, there could be a whole feature on LNM, it’s pretty impressive how much is pact in. How user friendly is open for debate.
I really only use it now for flight tracking, and getting details about other flights on VATSIM around me. I do like the feature where I can load all the MSFS Scenery (mainly payware) and have it update the runways, taxiways, parking, navaids, etc… so it is 100% accurate to where I am flying.
Then I’ll zoom in on the airport and easily identify where I am, where I’m going, and how to get there.
