I’m trying to play on my PC.
I’ve been trying to play this game since it came out but it is not optimzed to just grab an xbox controller and fly? Why not?
I can’t even look around properly with the joysticks. MSFS 2020 doesn’t have this issue.
Please someone send me a list of settings to make it playable with any xbox controller. Thanks.
I can’t get my xbox controller to work properly either, and I have asked for help in multiple places only to hear crickets. My only conclusion is the xbox controller doesn’t work correctly at all in FS 2024 (no addons, mods, just the default installation). I suppose it’s possible that some obscure setting needs to be configured, but I am just using the default settings. If ANYONE is able to use an Xbox controller on PC, I would love to see their settings.
The specific issue I have been having is that the elevator controls are ludicrously sensitive. If I barely move the left stick, the plane lurches as if I had moved the stick all the way in a given direction. I have searched for controller configurations online, and even watched some YouTube videos, but none of the settings seem to work for me.
I don’t have any problems using my Xbox Elite Series 2 Core or my standard Series X controller in other games on PC. I only see this issue in MS Flight Sim 2024.
