What are those? Should i download?

Hi all,
Today i download ARMORY CRATE to change colors of pc component. In that application i found this:

My question is… Do you think should i download the new driver and the other stuff in that application? Thanks in advance,

sincerely,
Filippo

Nope, its bloatware. Get your drivers from Windows Update or direct from the PC vendor.

Moved to #self-service:pc-hardware which is more appropriate :+1:

Everything on the driver page is a yes and calling it “all bloatware” is wrong.

Microsoft wont update all your drivers.

The bios update version through Armory Crate is usually wrong on my system and that I suggest checking through the website.

As for the utilities I only use the AI Suite for fan/cooling management.

Thats my point. Software that is supposed to update you drivers, but doesn’t update the correct versions is pointless. The vendor will supply the correct versions for your equipment, or Windows Update (where these are available).
If you computer is a custom build then you can get the updates from the motherboard manufacturer etc.
If your board is intel based, they offer a driver update utility on their website that will update any intel components.

Armory Crate is the vendors tool to provide drivers.

Edit Note: also it’s a treat with my Asus RGB mouse and keyboard synced with the PC lighting and what’s on my monitor while updating their drivers and firmware swimmingly.

Yes to drivers. No to everything else.

Who’s the vendor? It’s not one I’ve seen before. All of the stuff (other than the drivers) just looks like bloat / ad ware which should really be avoided, and I haven’t seen a hardware vendor do this before.

Asus … most of it unnecessary but Daemon Tools has been around forever it’s just imaging software, almost everyone uses CPUID and as I said I like the AI Suite, 7Zip over WinRAR.
