Wilwal International (HAJJ) to Kombolcha (HADC) leg today with a deviation to see some elephants
Most of the flight was on autopilot sightseeing from above
But then the vicinity of Kombolcha was all kinds of valleys and mountains so I couldn’t resist turning AP off and go closer to the ground.
Contrary to my previous try with wildlife the elphants did not fail to appear and a large pack of them were walking pretty close to the road
The airport itself is in a valley, with an easy visual approach following a river, however as in many cases, someone found it vitally importatnt to plant high trees just at the end of the runway. Luckily it is quite long, even for a jet, so I managed a nice and smooth landing.
