Funny. Those are my main routes and I just left NA for Europe for the first time. Try a stop over in Kelowna if you are not too big or try a 737 in castlegar. They use to fly them in there.
Flew the Southwest Airbus A320NX from Pittsburgh PA (PIT) to Chicago IL (ORD). All in all smooth flight expect the glorious ATC failed to allow to me contact tower to get cleared for the approach and landing and next thing I knew I was 5,000 feet above my runway.
Short 10 minute loop around and canceling IFR and requesting full stop landing did the trick. The passengers didn’t know lol.

I think the correct answer is, it’s complicated. The band members don’t appear to specifically come from that local region, but the importance of Uluru to Australia’s indigenous people can not be understated. I would wager it is certainly a nod to them.

Just finished my longest and best flight yet. Flew IFR Edmonton CYEG to Vancouver international CYVR with exceptional ATC coverage from VATSIM. I know to most two hours isn’t a lot, if anything, but man was that rewarding. Got some nice screenshots of the sun setting over the clouds, and was the landing ever smooth. A bit off the centerline, I’ll admit, but smooth nonetheless.
Somewhere in-between the Rockies and Vancouver.

I only use A320Neo from FBW so far…they are the most “realistic” aircraft in MSFS so far. And i’m an Airbus fanboy… Untill now, the A330 was my favourite “heavy” , thanks to Project mega pack ( they also have Boeings).
But since someone has solved the mirroring problem on the 747-8, I think i might reconsider…until the A380 from FBW will be released 
Would an A320 be able to land/take off in Castlegar? I would definitely try Kelowna ! cheers for the tips
everytime i do that flight…well…actually mostly to or from Calgary, I get shooked like cocktail over the Rockies

It was a turbulent flight for sure!
The A320 has been my go to. Love it also. I only stepped away to head for Heathrow so needed the range. Problem is when I get home from work it’s dark over there and I like real world. Castlegar is only 5300 ft so no room for error landing and no straight in approach. I landed the crj there without thrust reverse and used it all. I actually can’t believe I have not tried the a320 but top of my list now. Definitely no takeoff abort I will find out tonight. Kelowna for sure.

A long way down, and the tops of the bad weather extended above FL440. Tough penetration into cloud and rain on the approach, but we broke out into some clear patches, and a double rainbow.

Flew the Alaskan A320 from Bozeman MT (BZN) to Portland OR (PDX). Live weather and time. Flying out of Montana was very beautiful with the light rain and clouds. Along the way the wind had some pretty heavy gusts but overall smooth flight. One of favorite ones so far.

(this was actually a couple days ago, because I got busy and I usually post these right before I’m ready to start my next leg)
I decided to make one more stop inland before heading back to Florida’s gulf coast, because I noticed I was near Ocala where I remember hearing John Travolta kept his ex-QANTAS Boeing 707 parked outside his house. I looked it up, and although he has since donated the 707 back to Australia, I figured there was still a chance of seeing it due to the outdated nature of the satellite imagery, so I made plans to take a look around 17FL before landing at KOCF.
Finally there. I circled around a couple times and saw some nice houses but sadly no planes parked outside them.
Finally landed at Ocala Intl.

I did more “City to city” flights in a A320 and added voice to my videos (I do not like my own voice) 
Next, I would like to try out the 747 and see if I can figure it out, based on A320 experience.
