Have they done something with the sky and clouds lately? I can see in many photos and in my sim too that the sky looks so much better right now? Maybe i’m wrong but the clouds that are predicted on meteoblue also matches better in the sim. Nice photos by the way!
Taking off from RCTP and discovering Taiwan. It is wonderful experience.
Finally tried out the freeware scenery for Germany with emergency event sites and helo pads at hospitals, centered in the Sachsen area. Learned a lot how to use this. Also bought Hannover airport, but was disappointed to find NO helipads to set up on. They are not the only payware developers who disappoint us heli-folk.

Aside the from lack of active helipads, Hannover looks pretty good.
Well I am new to this Sim, but I was simulating a flight I took in flight school in the Chicago area in a little Cessna 152. And had a hard time just flying straight and level and trimming almost constantly. Think the aircraft needs the devs attention. But anyhow that was my thing today.
It flys pretty well when trimmed, so keep working at it. Be sure to do the flight training activities if you’re new to the sim. They help.
I did a marathon flight today from Santiago to Miami with 4 stops in La Paz, Lima, Quito and Tegucigalpa. Awesome scenery along the way and a lot of weather changes.
Santiago to El Alto Intl, La Paz
Approach to El Alto
El Alto is at over 13,000ft, highest international airport. Apparently too high for the A320NX
With the cabin already at 13,330ft on the runway, the plane could not pressurize the cabin. In fact, 6.4 psi difference with outside was the most it could keep the cabin at, placing the cabin at 8.1 psi total inside, comparative with 16,100ft.
The cabin pressure alert finally resolved after passing 24K ft on the descent to Lima
Unfortunately ATC was far late with descent instructions while I was reading up on cabin pressure
Too high. A loop and zig zags later, still too fast, loop around, very messy
ATC was not impressed and presented me with this taxi route
ATC stopped talking to me for the rest of the route, oh well.
Quito as usual was hidden in the clouds
I was on a visual approach as well, luckily I’ve landed here many times before and the runway appeared where it should be (flying by little navmap tracking)
Not much visibility today!
Sunset on the way to Toncontin airport, Tegucigalpa
Yikes
Toncontin Airport
Very dark final flight, Florida Keys here below
Final approach for the day
And time to unload in Miama
Great day flying!
I am constantly trimming via the ailerons. What controller do you use.
Thanks
Tried to see other planes in multiplayer but skies are empty as usual. Can’t see other planes unless they’re at the airport.
JAW DROPPING. The skies on this short flight from Greensboro, NC (KGSO) up to Lynchburg, VA (KLYH) absolutely TOOK MY BREATH AWAY. A real stunner. Smooth and issue free flight at 17,000 feet. Shot a mostly perfect RNAV approach to runway 22 with a very slight crosswind. Awesome visuals on the stadium on final - “The Flames” visible in the end zone (note to self, “LU” stands for Liberty University)!!! A really great flight! For now anyway, and for me at least, SU6 has restored stability to the sim. YT link to full flight vid:

Thrustmaster TM16000 + TWCS throttle. I only use elevator trim which is mapped to two of the buttons by the thumb on one of the four-way switches.
I never use aileron trim unless I want to fly in a circle
Flew from KLAX to YMML. Fuel went from 100% to 31%. Elapsed time was 14 hours 41 minutes.
Great to fly over the Pacific Ocean like that. No fps drop over the flight. I used the 777-300ER in American Airlines livery. I would have used a 787-10 but the lack of range would have required a fuel stop in Honolulu or Brisbane.
I couldnt tell you - I was thinking they looked good too, but just attributed that thought to being out of the loop for a few weeks. If they did do something, it worked!
Spitfire training in the flyingiorn Spitfire did a cross country Kingston Canada to Buffalo Lancaster NY
Flying into Lisbon airport. God what weather. 24+ knot almost cross wind, and gusting. Low cloud and rain too. Nailed it though.
TEXTBOOK ILS landing at Hagerstown, MD KHGR. A terrific 38 minute flight up from Lynchburg, VA (KLYH) to Hagerstown, MD (KHGR) featured a gorgeous interception of the approach course and glideslope for ILS runway 27. Windy but a lovely cool fall day in Maryland with broken clouds. We had a little crosswind but nailed this one on our on-going 50 state tour. Maryland is #13 - Delaware next! LOVING SU6!
