After arriving to Boston on Sunday, I wanted to explore Massachusetts and Vermont WB-Sim C172. Unfortunately, I was not lucky with weather. I planned flight from Beverly Regional in Boston to Bennington and see Bennington Battle Monument.
I departed from KBVY and stayed east, north-east of the airport, as was recommended to avoid noise sensitive area. When I was north, I turned west and climbed to 2500ft to fly under B airspace. Then I flew between cities Lawrence and Lowel. Again to avoid flying over populated area. After crossing Merrimack river I could climb to 4500ft. Until now, the weather was not ideal, but fine with ceiling 9000 overcast. Then I reached Nashua and I could see weather was getting worse. I was thinking of diverting to KASH, but I still could see the road that I planned to follow. And that road led me to Jaffrey. And from there I couldn’t see much to west. So I decided to divert to KAFN. I landed safely there and that was good decision, because visibility was getting worse.
