IFR to Catalina. It cleared up enough for a circling approach.
I hand-flew the VOR/DME B approach.
For the circling I chose to enter a right-hand pattern midfield to land 22.
Looked up how it’s done, and found a reference to this article:

Had to repeat the pattern because, oh man, elevated airports. Same thing with Sedona. If I don’t monitor altitude and sink rate closely, I visually misjudge the elevation.
