Cabri, in Vienna : I recreated some of the stops of the 5 days we spent in Vienna maybe 18 years ago.
Centre of Vienna is St Stephen’s Cathedral, huge and beautiful building, well portrayed here. Walked past it pretty much every day.
This is the Reisenrad, a 65m tall wheel at the entrance to the Prater Amusement Park. Made famous in the film ‘The Third Man’ with Orson Wells. Took us a while hiking across to this. Very very good rendition of it, cars are accurate, and it looks like the correct number of cars.
Schonbrunn Palace : this was a train ride out from Vienna. Lovely Palace. Again ms have done a very good job on this. The first photo shows the Glorietta at the top of the hill, the second, a closer look at it.
I remember walking up a long hill to get to this building (Glorietta) which had a stunning view back down the hill to the Palace. Well worth it.
Again, MS have done an excellent job with these POI’s in Vienna. Zoom in and take a look at the level of detail, very impressive.
Well worth the walk down memory lane.
