Living up to the spirit of the screen name I have used for over 20 years now, RoughLandings, I broke the elevator linkage on my skydive Cessna 172 last night! I had dropped the skydivers and was diving back to the airport and very briefly got the airspeed into the red band! I thought it might fail me because I broke the airplane, but I was able bring it in and land using power only for pitch control. Note how the elevator is dropped in the last two screenshots. Didn’t lose my S rating though!
