What did you do in MSFS today? (Part 2)

Zurich (LSZH) to Prague (LKPR) in the HondaJet:

It was quite an uneventful flight. I chose my from/to points based on vatsim coverage, so I got ATC on both ends, but the cruising part was on unicom and above completely closed clouds with not much to see. I managed to do an okay landing and even do it on the centerline.

I did this flight actually a day ago, since then I tried twice to edit the video to ramp up the speed of the cruising part to 10x, but the editor softwarte exited both tries unfinished after hours of working on it, so I’m uploading the raw video as is. It will take some time:

A little bit of recreation of my flight from The Blorenge
in Wales yesterday. This is also without photogrammetry so still very impressive :love_you_gesture::grin:

That paragliding mod looks really good, even seems to have improved the hill textures on the ground.

I flew from EGLC London City, departed east over the Thames estuary then south to Brighton, along the coast to Lymington then past the Needles direct to EGJA Alderney to see the new scenery I picked up (it’s very nice). I flew at 4,000ft in my Vision Jet enjoying the view the whole way.

I invested my FSeconomy cash in a (new ! again ?) C208 (my 3rd !), I m projecting to fly by all USA states in the ugliest livery, a kind of DirespectTour, flying to deliver awsome sneakers to our american friends and make some advertisement to a famous european market chain !

while a disrespectfull tour start what was the most ironical than the sim sending me an advice : ok you wanna laught ? flying without charts or any convention with your own law ? good luck then ! (icing and rain with low base cloud  )

after few go arounds and the second hop decided to leave the sim and tried to add some stickers to my livery while waiting for a better weather … because that s part of my plan (I want to bring it back to europe later) :getting a ugly livery with souvenirs of all city / states I stopped by, unfortunately it s much harder than what I thought to add few logos to a livery  when I reduce the stickers they are very pixelated, and tried blender 3.4 , I got gltf error when trying to import… :face_exhaling: I guess I will collect all my logos in a folder and try later with different ways !

Well, this is a new landing failure mode for me.

Wow!

How did you do that?  Shouldn’t the center of gravity be far enough forward to make it fall back on its nose wheel?

No they don’t! If properly modeled, you should be nose down like this!

Obviously the dev needs to work on that flight model

I finally FINALLY decided to upgrade to Premium Delux. So, obviously the first thing you do is download the Heavy Division mod for the B78X, get a United livery, hop in the plane and go KORD to PHNL without looking at any checklists or tutorials. Let’s see how this goes!

P.S. Two hours in and ATC voices are gone again, so things appear to be working just as I expected

Shuttle flight over the Grand Canyon area, Page Municipal (KGPA) to Boulder City Municipal (KBVU).

VFR according to regulations. I hope I got this right. Correct me, please, if needed.

  • avoided the restricted zones up to 14,500 ft
  • used one of the designated corridors, Zuni Point in our case
  • cruised at 8,500 ft most of the time
  • climbed to cruise at 10,500 ft East of KGCN, because we’re required to be at least 2,000 ft AGL everywhere

I made it to PHNL on my first 787 flight, but boy that landing was ROUGH! I’m surprised the left wing was in good enough shape to make it to the gate with me.
