Love it when that happens… like all those US and world maps on school playgrounds.

My refusal to ask is mostly stemming from anger and jealousy at those detailed and beautiful graphics.

Kidding but seriously, I know I’m on Xbox but are these addons or are they the standard level of detail when playing on pc? Geez.

I would also like to know if the ability to move around the buildings, etc is limited to pc. I can’t seem to move more than 10 feet away from my plane.

With FSRealistic’s new first person walk around camera you’re not limited to just what the drone does, although I can’t see why you wouldn’t be able to move past 10 feet with the camera drone? I used it awhile back to tour around Guangzhou airport. Another person on here posted shots of him touring an island he landed at without having his plane nearby. To your first question, I haven’t really done much exploring. I load up my tube and I go and fly almost exclusively within the USA, sad I know. I’m sure some people mod their sims pretty hard but as to the extent that I mod is more simply by adding aircraft tools or addon sceneries. I’m assuming PC and Xbox have around the same default base of scenery, however PC is always able to tweak with so many various customizations and tweaks.

Let’s stay on topic folks. Thank you.

I’ve always wanted to go to Madeira (both in RL and MFS) So today I decided to fulfil my dream - I flew from LPFR to LPMA in Fenix A320. Obviously Cristiano was away. Still I had so much fun with RNAV Z 05! Also it’s such a beautiful place - I loved the cars passing by the airport

An exciting 2h12m flight from Milan, Italy (LIMC) to Shannon, Ireland (EINN). A little weirdness in the approach led to a non-stabilized approach and a need for a go-around. But we managed it, despite a few rookie blunders, and though we rather planted the landing, we made it safe to Shannon and our continued journey back to the States goes on! Welcome to Ireland!

For today I’ve planned somewhat a shorter leg in my southward South American tour, quite a dull one, I must admit, because I had no time to learn more about the place, as I usually do, so for me it was from “San Domingo de something” to “Qua???”.

40 min flight, nothing but banana plantations below, so on approach I decide to go for flaps.

In case of CH701 it’s something special. Some people never use it, and still enjoy the STOL potential of the Sky Jeep. Because actually it’s flapperons, and they change the plane’s behavior drastically.

But hey, that stick between my legs is there for a reason, I thought, and jerked it one click up while joining the downwind. The result was satisfying: stable 40 mph and level.

Long story short, I crashed. It was on final, and I was 100% sure to have everything under my control: good direct headwind, the same 40 AIS, even some throttle. The plane was screeching and shaking, but I had my instruments, so it could screech all it wanted.

Lightning fast roll, dive and crash. Something very unsettling, if you prefer to fly as real as it gets.

The tour is officially paused for some patternwork.

Not flying related but I managed to finally get a lockout at 60 FPS with an above 50 average at large airports. Pretty stoked.
