Monroe LA to Greenville MS Mid-Delta Regional. Pleasant flight with nice clouds.

Departing Monroe, it’s really nice and I will probably revisit and cheat the laws of space and time to return for an aerial tour in the Tiger Moth. Really these days it’s between the Comanche and the Tiger Moth.

Set up for a nice cruise North up the Mississippi toward Memphis.

Could a more beautiful game be possible?

On the ground in Greenville, ready to refuel and do another leg tomorrow!

Woke up this morning, can’t get the 777 in Swiss livery out of my head.

Please can you do a trip in glorious HD for me :innocent:

Would do that on my next flight as soon as I have free time during the week. Swiss is also my favorite!

Day was quite nice, though hot, so I decided to fly around my neck of LA, Sunland, and the Crescent Valley. Whiteman to Burbank. Didn’t use any mods, not even the right livery for the US. I know I’ve said it before, but the Waco sure was improved in that last update. Landing was much easier.

Decided against my better judgement to take off and attempt to fly through weather from Greenville to Nashville, and ended up flying into zero visibility conditions. Diverted to someplace called Dawson’s. I’ll try again tomorrow. Live weather sometimes adds complications!

Sure, we could fly right under that.

It’s not so bad!

Okay, never mind. Executed a 180 degree turn back to clearer skies. Dawson was tiny and the landing was, um, could have been better. Yeah.

Incredible detail, just how I remember it when I visited a few years ago. Is that the base sim or have you used add on scenery?

Flight along the Thames Estuary; with precipitation for 10 minutes, but calm winds.

Most likely the “Jeppeson2001 Niagara Falls City Pack” addon.
Well worth having.

My night of simming has just begun but so far I’ve installed and checked out the free KHHR Hawthorne. It was great being on approach, looking over and seeing a 777 going into 25L at LAX.

Departed from Dawson’s with the intention of continuing over Memphis and on to Nashville, climbed all the way to 9,000 to get over the weather, and then when I saw Memphis pass below me through a hole in the cloud I decided heck with it, and descended through a perfect series of cloud openings to 1,700 foot ceiling broken and good visibility.

Had quite a satisfying approach and landing at KAWM West Memphis Muni, as the weather slowly receded, revealing blue skies.

Couldn’t resist taking a spin in the Tiger Moth, to celebrate the newly cleared skies. Executed a loop that I actually felt proud of. The Tiger Moth and the Comanche are a perfect pairing, the Comanche gets you there fast and with feeling, the Tiger Moth is ready for some low and slow sightseeing and general aerial malfeasance. I hadn’t planned to fly across the entire United States, but once you start city hopping it really becomes addictive. Toss in live weather and a variety of day and night flights, and it’s a truly fun scenario. Bring along some plane pals for side missions and an extra degree of immersion! A solid recipe for amusement.
