Bagolu work-in-progress C172 M
I have been reading 100 UNFORGETTABLE DESTINATIONS by National Geographic. I bookmarked a few of them and decided to fly there.
This one is the Great Blue Hole in Belize. I took out the brilliant I.C.P. Savannah S by @bagolu on its maiden flight in my possession. And it instantly became a memorable one. The aircraft itself is brilliant - a signature piece of work by the maestro @bagolu himself.
The Great Blue Hole is a large marine sinkhole off the coast of Belize. It lies near the center of Lighthouse Reef, a small atoll 70 km (43 mi) from the mainland and Belize City. The hole is circular in shape, 318 m (1,043 ft) across and 124 m (407 ft) deep. It has a surface area of 70,650 square metres (760,500 sq ft). It was formed during several phases of the Quaternary glaciation when sea levels were much lower. Analysis of stalactites found in the Great Blue Hole shows that formation took place 153,000, 66,000, 60,000, and 15,000 years ago. As the ocean began to rise again, the cave was flooded. The Great Blue Hole is part of the larger Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The site was made famous by Jacques Cousteau, who declared it one of the top five scuba diving sites in the world. In 1971, he brought his ship, the Calypso, to the hole to chart its depths.
What did he discover besides the depth?
Sharks hunting. A lot of marine life. But it was much later (1992), when it became a prominent scuba diving destination, that the full scale of the aquatic fauna was discovered and documented.
Thanks for reading, Captain. Always a pleasure to get your attention, sir!

This one is about the town of Munnar, Kerala, India, which lies in The Western Ghats mountain range. The Western Ghats, also known as the Sahyadri, is a mountain range that stretches 1,600 km (1,000 mi) along the west coast of India. Covering an area of 160,000 km2 (62,000 mi2), it traverses the Indian states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu.
Munnar is a town located in the Idukki district of the southwestern Indian state of Kerala. Munnar is situated at around 1,600 meters (5,200 ft) above mean sea level. This ancient plantation settlement, dominated by its tea industry, is also a growing modern hill station.
The Western Ghats region is a biodiversity hotspot. It consists of nearly 30% of all the species of flora and fauna found in India, most of which are endemic to this region. At least 325 globally threatened species occur in the Western Ghats.

Is this place easy to find?
Wonderful research, I also love researching what I am flying over. Prior to whats in the news currently, I was enjoying flying over the region from Oman up that coast and inland from it. Wonderful forts and structures have been created there by the older civilisations that resided there. Desert geology is also very interesting. ![]()

Took out my favorite Diamond DA62 for this adventure and flew it at 50% throttle, studying the area.

Yes, sir. First locate it on Google Maps. Then find it on the MSFS World Map.
