I just took off from Sangster International in my Cessna 152, heading east along the coast between 900ft-1000ft when suddenly I had a catastrophic engine failure. With only one realistic place to set down safely, I had to bank left and then right to descend and then came in to set down on a grass clearing, on the peninsula at Oyster Bay. Proper took me off guard!

Focke Wulf 190 in msfs 2020
The boss said “your mission, should you accept it, “ (like I had a choice) “is to fly a low level reconnaissance mission to Geiranger, we suspect a vessel slipped through in the night, photograph it”
So, I flew the Focke to Geiranger, the vessel was a supply vessel, which furnished Geiranger with an additional 5000+ guests to add to their population of 250. Happy Days.

2020, For some reason I could not get the 707 passed New Foundland after a flight planned from Minneapolis to Rome. Scenery off has not made a difference, soooooo, I switched to more local GA flying, and more with Black Square mods.
All that said, the nice weather around Southern California has been quite tempting, especially with fog off the coast. Took the BS Baron from Whiteman, to the Channel Islands, through Catalina for DTLA, and back to Whiteman.
