In no particular order, flying mainly C172/G1000, here are the reasons that dampen my enthusiasm for spending time in this sim:
• Missing towers and other VFR landmarks
• Poor photogrammetry
• Terrain anomalies
• Incomplete/broken G1000
• Long load time
• Autopilot trim runaway
• Lightning in fair weather

(1) Grossly incomplete manual – actually, none at all!
(2) No way to edit flight plan without contortions
Need more hours to identify more, which I’m sure will become evident with time.
I think of the current status of MSFS 2020 in a different way.
The way I understand it:
MSFS default aircraft are not study level, third party payware quality. And that’s a good thing. You don’t wanna kill the third party developers. it will be a huge mistake cause then PMDG, A2A, fslabs and the likes will abandon you instead of joining you.
Right now in MSFS, some features are fully finished, some features are missing, some are half-finished and then there are some bugs.
That’s all in a nutshell. Depending on who you ask, the simulator is either fully finished, or half-finished, feature-wise.
It’s also been released in an early access form https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Early_access, like how the developers themselves said. (“we are in for a long journey”, “this sim will remain in continuous development for the next ten years” etc). For comparison, GTA 5 single player for example was released in a fully finished state and it didn’t require ten years of development and support post-release. ARK: Survival Evolved was released in early access in 2015 and was considered to be fully finished in 2017. Both projects are successful.
If you’re not willing to wait, participate and support this long early access development process, you should find for yourself another sim or app that you think is finished and enjoy it.
AI that doesnt have the same bugs as FS, FSX and Pxd V12345
“can you two decide where you’re going im trying to get to my gate”
“he won’t let me past”
“I got here first”
“I’m bigger than you”
“ATC (A big boy) told me to come along here first”
AI take 6 hours to exit the active and 5 hours to line up
All in time of course
etc
I fly mainly Alaska in MSFS always have from the beginning. I would like to see 1 Helicopters, 2 more airports available like FSX has for Alaska. 3 Software to add or build small airports up with scenery to bring them to life. 4 A software program or add-on to have Bush Pilots missions. 5 lastly Shipping Piers and vessels coming and going from busy seaports and marinas. Just my 2 cents
