Hi there, What does the term “METAR” mean? I have seen it mentioned a lot in the forums.. Any help is greatly appreciated. TIA

Aviation routine weather report. Believe it or not.
AWC - Meteorological Aerodrome Reports (METARs) (aviationweather.gov)
Here is the USGS/Weather page showing them.
It is not METAR you need to wrry about - it is what is in it.
If you see VSTS GR VA SS in your local METAR for example you really should start to worry
