Just about got my confidence back that this sim is enjoyable and now after the new update the whole thing has crazy. Cant click on autopilot buttons now showing a movement cursor then suddenly flashing popup out menus and inability to interact with anything. Back to square one.

You have to go into options and reset everything. Under general assistance there is a item for the cockpit that needs to be set to legacy, and the related help pop ups (underneath the legacy settings) need to be switched to you liking.
In the Assist menu, you’ll have to re-edit those because they switched to noob mode, and check your controllers setting and make sure you only have 1 mouse instance. If there is more then one delete all of them except default and you should be good to go…
