Hi there, This is an updated question about the best USB HUB and Best brand to use for my laptop.? Any help is greatly appreciated. TIA
I run 2, both externally powered.
One is a Sabrent the other is an Anker. No issues, everything is plugged into them and they are the only USB connections to my PC.
Whatever you get, just be sure to also go into your Device Manager, USB Devices and select the properties of each one and turn off power suspending.
Both are 60Watt.

Not at all, those are just the IQ ports for systems that can take advantage of the IQ technology but just showing as an example.

Interesting. I haven’t done that because I assumed that disabling it in my power plan would do it globally for all USB devices. I can see why doing it on the individual hubs would be smart.
I have three Atolla 7-port hubs. They’re an ‘Amazon Choice’ and have been working flawlessly.
