Fun facts:
- NYPD uses Floyd Bennett Field for police helicopter operations today.
- Many years ago, a Concorde was on display at Floyd Bennett Field. It sat there while the Intrepid air craft carrier museum was in dry dock. You could purchase tickets and see it there. (Now, you can do that at the Intrepid.)
