It is one of Van Gogh’s more existential paintings where he is depicting the heart of a depressed sunflower when clouds have covered the sun thus preventing it from receiving all the goodness thereof.
But don’t worry, as soon as the sun shines brightly again and without obfuscation, the flower will revert back to its normal bright colour.
