What is the best 32 inch or less monitor for a triple monitor set up? Thanks
Right now with MSFS you are far better off with a single widescreen monitor and the bestest videocard your money and some you shouldn’t have to spend can buy.
To elaborate MSFS has no native 3 monitor support at all so a super huge wide monitor would be best but you need a video card to drive that and for the most part they are unavailable unless paid a kings ransom.
- these wide screens as mentioned are simplest implementation
- 32inch is measly though
use (cheap is ok) 3x 40-50-55" UHD 4k Samsung TV’s (60Hz) and you have yourself a magnificent view.
Sample:
Epic Triple 4k Monitor Gaming Setup - 11520x2160 Resolution!
(I have a 50" UHD TV but fly VR, still 3 screens attached, UHD is way better than 1080p by miles)
In 2021 i do not recommend triple anymore, especially not with small overpriced pc monitors. And 3 4k tv’s are good in theory, cheap, but take a lot of space and you need to drive 23 million pixels, which is bonkers.
Get a big 65 inch uhd samsung curved tv, or a lg oled, and move the screen closer to your eyes when you play. Or go vr.
MFS2020 doesn’t support yet placing side monitors at an angle, there are multiple post on this subject. To avoid distortion at the edges of side displays all 3 displays should be placed in one flat row - kind of panoramic view to the front with nVidia surround.
The proper multiple display functionality is planned for 2021-2022.
By the way this is VR sub forum, not a best place for multiple display discussion.
would having a huge screen and a projector work for MSFS2020?
It’s really not an issue with size than it is aspect ratio.
Standard ratio will continue to look great as long as it’s not like 34" at 1080p which will look pixelated.
Ultra-wide gets some minor stretching, super-ultra-wide more stretching and finally multi-monitor gets very stretched.
Track-Ir makes it seem “not so bad” as you wont look at the stretchy part without cutting your eyes.
