I can import the simbrief plan but what steps do I take to get the autopilot to follow the flight plan in the airliners? Can someone please tell me exactly what put in the FMC. I’m so used to MSFS 2020 and just hopping in and flying.
I don’t know the answer but you ask an interesting question. Which aircraft/FMC in your case?
There’s a setting to enforce the flight plan. Not home right now but I want to say it may be in the Assistance menu. Where ever it is it’s all the way at the bottom.
Isnt there an option for that all the way down where you also load your flight plan from outside MSFS2024 ? Something like “Load flight plan into avionics” or something.
I’ve only tried the Airbuses but if you’ve entered your Simbrief pilot ID in the EFB (the tablet in the left window, not the thing that pops up on pressing Tab), you can just press Init Request on the Init A page and it will load your flight plan.
Depends what plane do you fly and if you use default ATC.
iniBuild planes are not integrated with default EFB and Flight Planner so you have to import Simbrief flightplan in their EFB. If you don’t use ATC, you can ignore MSFS flight planner.
This option is for default ATC to give you the same landing runway and approach you have in the flight plan. I don’t see how this answers OP question regarding FMC and autopilot.
If you fly one of the airbus planes you can load it via the MCDU. In some you have to add your Simbrief name or ID somewhere in the mcdu and in the efb.
For my personally i cannot enter a simbrief flightplan preflight in the EFB on the main menu before entering the flight, because then i have ctd’s. I can load it inside the plane’s cockpit…
