When Flight assistant on and nearby airport selected as destination - please show visual glide slopes from both endings of the runway

Hi,

I have an idea for a future update because I need more visual guidance to get a better feeling for airliner landings.

When opening the “flight assistant mode” and click “show interesting places around me: Airports” and set a nearby airport as landing destination - please automatically make a glide slope path overlay on this destination airport with glideslopes ascending from both sides of the runway for at least two miles or more.

I need to get a better feeling of how to land the AIrbus by hand.
It has no air brakes and therefore it behaves so differently than the 737 I am used too, and it´s always hovering along the whole runway with no possibility for me to slow it down before it lands.
The touch-down is always at the end of the runway and not at the beginning …

A good visual glide slope marker would extremely helpful with the landings.

I have seen these glide slope markers automatically showing up on all airports a few weeks ago when the gear was down or so (I don´t know what triggered this little visual helper) but these guidance lines were extremely helpful and almost all of my landings went perfect!
A few days later they have disappeared from the flight sim and I would like to have them back

Have a nice weekend :smiley_cat:

There is one in the Assistance Options, Navigation Aids, Landing Path. It won’t give you both ends but it will give you the Active one.

Only the active end of a runway with an ILS has a glideslope.
BTW of course a 320 has speed brakes, the lever is below the throttles on the left side of the center console. To nail the landing, have your approach speed set and maintain about a 3 degree descent, then flare at about 10ft while retarding the throttles.
