Curious if it is, as Im sure many others are wondering
If it were to be done, the chat will be difficult to manage, really difficult.
I know, thats why Im wondering. It would be a lions den
No need to open it as it will be abused anyway.
Like in their last YouTube video, the one after the disastrous launch, where comments were turned off.
Canât blame them.
At what hours does tomorrowâs stream start?
As the mod has said, it will be tomorrow at 18:30 UTC and 10:30 a.m. PST.
Alexa: remind me to log into Twitch at 1830 on 29 November please.
Hello folks,
Update on the above: the livestream is now scheduled for December 4. Please see here for more information:
Thanks,
MSFS Team
i think itâs the right thing to focus on fixing issues at the moment
Not surprised by that at all, the threat of a live chat filled with angry customers would put anyone off.
Still it would be nice to get an update on the VR game breaking issues before next week, it should not if been released in this state and we need action now.
Today could have been a good time to say sorry and give some insights on the many issues and open questions. We all are waiting for this. I donât think a Dev stream would stop the panel from focusing on addressing open issues in the sim. But again, communication is not their strength.
@SeedyL3205 Be great if the team could have an âextendedâ Livestream, as I suspect there will be far too much to cover in the normal time frame.
Communication is key !!!
Im a very sure, Jorg and Seb are not sat at computer doing the bug finding. I feel they have nothing to say and they havenât a clue how to fix this sorry excuse for a sim,
who idea was it to delay the stream?
When was this decided? since last than 24 hours ago you said it was going ahead as planned
What bugs are they fixing?
when can we except a statement on what they are doing?
when we will be able to deleted old addons from 2020 on the 2024 sim as these do not work?
When can we except a full written apology?
Whos idea was it to let the sim go out in that state?
Why was it not released via the Beta app for a few weeks to sort out all these bug and apply fixes?
These are just a few questions that need answering, and they should be hiding behind a wall, Daily Statements should be coming out
Postponing the dev stream is sensible. They know lots of the bugs that need to be solved, so donât need us to tell them. They know many of us are angry, so public flagellation will not make them solve the bugs any quicker. More statements from them (like those already issued) will only inflame the situation.
I think even next week is too soon - the main object must be to start issuing hotfixes, and to do so at regular intervals, and to supply release notes so that the bug-checkers (i.e. all of us) can feedback on the âsolutionsâ. This would hopefully get us closer to a usable sim.
200 people working there, there are people who can fix stuff. The management team I assume they could find time to explain lots of things.
I think the stream should not be postponed, we demand answers. I could live with disabled chat, so they could focus on saying what they want to say and at least address the issues and why itâs happening.
Tomorrow in the US is Thanksgiving. This is a holiday week here. Their stateside employees have probably been working long and hard since before the launch, they deserve a momentâs peace and quiet, if that is even possible for them. A moment of grace in the maelstrom, if you will. We can, some of us, many of us, let them have that moment in a hell of software making?
For my part, I am Thankful for a lot of things this week including 2020 which is still fun for me. While not joining the chorus of defectors, I do find I am spending more time in 2020 now as I have so many add-ons that do work and the team need time to sort things out, enough said.
Happy Thanksgiving to all who observe and good flying to all, at least in 2020 for a while.
Delaying the Stream does not help matters, there hiding behind a wall and its the Customers that suffer. They should NEVER of Released MSFS2024 in the first place until it was fully checked⊠I think the Delay of the stream points at one thing MONEY they want more customers before they start going LIVE stream because they know New customers will not buy there ProductâŠ
No, thatâs nonsense. Even though I feel really disappointed in the postponement of the devstream I am certain itâs more for âtechnicalâ (canât think of the right word here) reasons. But delaying it just to get more money? Thatâs daft.
