When will the illogical baked in logic for tugs be changed (fixed)?

Since day 1… can’t get rid of tugs and can’t get them out of the way. When will this silliness be addressed? I mean, look at this picture and tell me that this makes sense.

Is this where he works?
What are his hours?
Where does he store the tug when his shift is up?

Yeah that drives me nuts too. An airport worker dedicated to me? lol I found out that if a parking spot is designated for military jets, no pushback operator is provided. I downloaded Airport Design Editor and changed ones like this to military to solve it. AFAIK, there is no other difference (I could be wrong, but I haven’t noticed).

Maybe they should just eliminate all the tugs and say tugs are not provided in this version of the game.
It will give them more time to work on silly little cloud formation issues. Eventually, they may get to fixing the everlasting NAV equipment bugs.

As i posted it’s quite easy to get rid of the tug if it upsets you that much:

I too don’t like the ubiquitous tugs. I forgot about your post that I saw some time ago. If I use this will the pushback “Shift P” still work? thanks

You can have a little electric one if you want.

Sorry, after I sent the message, I realized I was being lazy. I tried the cfg change with the Cessna 172 G1000 and it works very well. Push back works also. My only problem is that I use the Cessna 172 Classic all of the time and there is no way to get to the Aircraft cfg. to make the change. Same thing with the Carenado airplanes I bought. I guess I am stuck with the Tugs.

Thanks for the tip anyway.

Hey MSFS tug operator ai here, don’t mind me just clipping through your cockpit to put my face on your crotch…no biggie!:sob:

Well, that would be yet another hack that we have to do for free on our own time. With a market cap of $2.398 trillion, MS can probably afford to pay Asobo to take care of this the right way :+1:

Nasty, if you like the airport !

You could use the SDK to draw a Poly around it and remove the object.
Save it as a Project and deploy for \Community.

Reverse propellor may help too :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I like the tugs. Big deal, so there is a tug. I would agree they are not the smartest of tugs and a bit more logic would be nice. Never mind all the other problems in the world, now I have tugs to worry about as well…
