Just wondering where i can find some animals?
Best place is central Africa :))
In the little searchbar on the world map type FAUNA and it will list all the animals on the world, you can then click it and spawn at that location or close by in the air flying. Itâs the search bar under aircraft selection block
On the flight planning page search for âFaunaâ and it brings up a list of all animals and locations.
Hope that helps.
Thanks very much!
Hmm for some reason I am not seeing any animals at the fauna spots
They sometimes spawn a little out, just like in real life itâs an estimate as to the area they will be, so sometimes they are walking or flying around a little bit out but you will spot them. Just a heads up birds are harder to spot
Wont let me link a You Tube video soâŠ
Go to you tube and search for âObsidianant Elephantsâ and that gives you a good summary of the animals adn how to find them.
You can actually link it but not directly like this
watch?v=jchxsSdBRLo
You just copy that into Youtube and presto
So, in the little search bar on the World map if you can type FAUNA to list the animals what other things can you type and go see?
You can give anything a try, I seen that Castle work
Where can I find the locations with the animals.
For example, the promo videos show n ICON A5 flying next to a lot of FlamingosâŠ
In the world map filters, search for fauna.
And in addition to activating fauna in the filter menu, you can also type fauna in the searchbar (where you would search for airports).
Does anyone know about the âanimalsâ in MSFS20? I can not find them, none of them. My general further question is: Do the âPoints of Interestâ have to be installed to have the animals? I donât myself care about the points of interest and do not have them installed as I have found they take FPS away and I donât need the points as much as the FPS. I did do a search in the Fauna for them and it tells me where they are but as yet have not seen them and I am wondering if they may be in the Points of Interest installation. Also, I do not have the âballoonsâ turned on as well. I am assuming that when entering the given location the heading is good enough. Perhaps not. Anyway, any help at all would be appreciated.
Hi !
Iâve found quite tricky to see thoses animals in the begining, there is a procedure there:
I hope it will help you,
Have a nice safari !
Make surw you have Fauna turned on, as you need that to see them.
In the box under where you pick your departure airport, Type in elephant to start, then go see the elephants.
grab a helicopter to do safari in, its better.
Animals are definately around. But really hard to find due to the very poor visibility radius. You have to get very close before they pop up. Uselese in my opinion and totally not worth searching for. They donât look to good either. Walk in one straight line and go straight trough trees sometimes.
Better off playing planet zoo if you want animals
Just saw a free, wild, pink elephant near ParisâŠ
Do not drink or take illicit substance before flying!
Found @ 48° 53â 22,72" N 2° 30â 11,90" E
Theyâre not hard to find, or see.
Many POIs by default are installed. Additional POIs that come with World Updates, require you install the separate Scenery Packages in the Marketplace - Japan Update, USA Update, UK, France/Benelux etc.
