I don’t know if the issues you faced are corrected, but you need to work around the deficiencies of the sim.
You might want to try the free mod for the pushback.
As said above, the ATC is still one of the major parts that don’t work properly. Turn it off and use VATSIM / IVAO / PilotEdge.
The autopilot in most planes now work almost correctly (there are rare occasions where it still goes into buggy mode, but it’s rare).
If you want planes that work “flawlessly”, right now you need to stick to a handful of references:
- FBW A320NX (free)
- JustFlight PA28 Arrow
- Aerosoft CRJ 550/700
