Hello, I am needing some advice about the gliders. Where is a tow plane? How do you even take off? I have even bought an app off of Simmarket. All I can get is an airplane that just sits there on the runway and does nothing. I would really like to fly it. But it just sits there. Is there someone that can help? Thank you
Are you talking about the “GotFriend” Glider?
If you are trying the Touching Cloud DG808, you will either need to load the KINETIC application, or just do the simply route and SLEW (Y - F4 - Y) to get to altitude. The GotFriend glider has a built-in simulated “cable launch”. I prefer the 808 and just slew it up. No needed apps for that.

I am pretty sure I am. I bought the glider pkg when the gliders first hit the update. I have found the rope launch for one glider. But the other one I am still having problems with. This is more of a third party app. and not getting the tow plane to work correctly. Thanks
Yes, I had bought the glider pkg that I thought had a tow plane for the new gliders. I think I have it downloaded correctly,but I honestly don’t know. I loaded everything into the community folder. I’m pretty sure. So one airplane has the rope launcher that works. But the other glider does not have anything I can see that looks like a launcher, or a tow plane. I have everything from simmarket downloaded , but I have no idea where to find the “Connect” button they keep talking about. Thank you for your advice.
Look at the bottom of the console inside the glider. You can press the button on the panel with your mouse to connect it
